Hi! I am a local MTSU student who has been diligently working a project to locate, map, and research old country stores. If you are interested in hearing some of our work (my class & professor Dr. Doug Heffington) then tune in to FM 89.5 on April 19th at 10am. A radio show will be airing voicing our research and the importance of this project. These old stores have died out and most of them sit lone on the road. Cannon County Takes Down FRA 24-7!

The Cannon County Lions stepped onto the home filed of the Franklin Road Academy Panthers looking for some respect after falling to 0-2 at home. The Panthers wanted a win to celebrate their Homecoming festivities and came out roaring to take a 7-0 lead at half time.

Being in the FRA “Jungle” didn’t intimidate the Lions who call their own home field “The Jungle” and the mighty Lions roared back in the second half with 24 unanswered points improving their record to 1-2 for the season and spoiling… Continue
