Jim Gibbs Woodbury Police Setup Sobriety Road Blocks

Millie Webb was burned over 70 percent of her body and her 4-year-old daughter was killed, all at the hands of a drunken driver 37 years ago. Her 19-month-old nephew also died that day when the driver slammed into the rear of the family's car. "I want other families to be spared our pain," said Webb, former national president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Cannon High News Football Time in Cannon County

The Cannon County Lions took the field Friday tonight for the first regular season game. The Lions faced Sequatchie County and former Cannon County Head Coach Chad Barger. Barger returned to Sequatchie County to take the head coaching position. Cannon County's new head coach Andrew Bartsch told the Lions in practice, “it’s simple, tomorrow you punch in, punch them and punch out!” The coach believes strong support from the student body is also important to the game plan.
